Book Spine Poetry: Tam-Lin, The Dark is Rising

We’re back!

A recent dream: In a reality show competition, I had to cross a pool that had square floaters dotted around it, only all of the floaters had piles of MY books on them. So I had to be very, very careful not to land wrongly, or I’d topple over my books into the water.

Talk about your nightmares.

Anyway, these books came together in a rather odd way, kind of turned into themselves, but I left them as such. I also took a liberty with the last title.

Tam-Lin, the Dark is Rising

Tam-Lin, the dark is rising
A ring of endless light
up the down staircase;
The long secret.

Giant groundswell, the long ago lake—

Lady of the forest, ready or not:
Final harvest.
