Toxic work environments can cause documented PTSD in a person. The first thing to remember: It really was them, not you, that caused the toxicity.

Second thing: It’s not your fault.

It’s also important to retrain yourself (or get help retraining) out of the habits you were pushed into–mentally, emotionally–once you get into an awesome new job. Make sure to read the comments to this post for more great advice.
