There, I did it: I entered the Readers’ Favorite Contest

I’d been sitting on this for awhile now, and missed all but one of the deadlines.

Today, I thought: Why not?

So I did it.

The Readers’ Favorite International Book Award Contest says it’s one of the largest and most popular book award contests in the world, and I have no reason to disbelieve them.

They have oodles of prizes to win even if you don’t get their actual award; plus you can enter just about any published or unpublished manuscript with no word count restriction or publication date requirement.

So I entered What’s At the End of Your Nose?. I chose it over Dr. Guinea Pig George and one of my as-yet-unpublished children’s stories not just because it was the first book I published, but because somehow it felt like the right thing to do.

You should do it, too. Deadline is June 1!

“Congratulations, you are an official contestant in the 2017 Readers’ Favorite International Book Award Contest, one of the largest and most popular book award contests in the world!”

Now to wait until September 1! 🙂
