A sci-fi story I sent in to Black Hare Press (Dark Tales For Dark Hearts) got accepted!

“We really enjoyed your story – Single Colonists Wanted – and would like to inform you that it has been accepted for inclusion in the publication. Congratulations!”

I came upon this open call on Sunday after getting all fired up about environmental disasters. In earlier incarnation of this blog, I used to write about environmental needs, yet moved away from it for reasons that may sound familiar: It didn’t seem that anyone was listening.

The story that came out of me was very bleak, but heartfelt. I felt confident in it even as I kept my expectations sanguine.
