I need to take a moment for this even though the recipients may never see this.
CreateSpace is awesome.
I’m not even talking about how it’s proven (for me) to be a great platform to publish my first books.
I’m talking customer service.
Twice now I’ve had to contact them about something I just couldn’t figure out on my own. The first time, I received a helpful response within a day.
This second time I received an apologetic email saying how Tropical Storm Nate made them temporarily close one of their centers, so all the other centers are working as quickly as they can to respond.
The very next day, I had a response that again was very helpful.
And the fact that I’m calling this out the way I am goes to show how we’ve come to expect quite the opposite when reaching out to companies.
Happy books to you!
With spring coming, calendar-i-arly speaking, the snails will be marching on out.
So I’m redoing the cover of “What’s at the End of Your Nose?” for a mini re-launch.
Now CreateSpace just has to sniff it out, and then I order a proof copy to do the same. Once I approve, my understanding is the book will be unavailable for sale until they replace the cover. I can live with that—just!

I’ll do a cover reveal once it’s all set. Here’s a hint: I’m keeping it a matte cover so kids (and adults) can still color it.
Have you gotten “What’s at the End of Your Nose?” or “Dr. Guinea Pig George” yet? Help an author out and review on Amazon. It means the world to me.
I am holding my actual physical book in my hands. It’s still a proof copy, but wow. Wow.
Now I can say both “Soon!” and “Onward!” at the same time (only I won’t, because it would come out sounding like “Sohnwahrdohn,” and nobody wants that).
Another low-res-ish shot for you:
